Sub-Committee B has been holding this item under
scrutiny since 30 March 2006. We last wrote to the then Minister,
Stephen Ladyman MP, regarding this proposal on 25 April 2006[43]
and requested news of any significant developments in negotiations.
We would appreciate an update on negotiations, along with the
supplementary Explanatory Memorandum and a Regulatory Impact Assessment
that we are also anticipating.
