EUROPEAN NETWORK AND INFORMATION SECURITY AGENCY (ENISA):EXTENSION (16840/07)

Letter from the Chairman to Stephen Timms MP, Minister of State for Competitiveness, Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform

Thank you for your Explanatory Memorandum on the proposal to extend the mandate of the ENISA. Sub-Committee B considered this document during its meeting of 28 January and decided to clear it from scrutiny. However, the Committee is continuing to hold the proposal to create the European Electronic Communications Market Authority (15408/07) under scrutiny and will take a close interest in developments in this area.
