1   Barony of Darcy de Knayth in the Peerage of England The Petition of Caspar David Ingrams claiming to have succeeded to the Barony of Darcy de Knayth in the Peerage of England and praying that the Clerk of the Parliaments might be directed to enter the petitioner as Lord Darcy de Knayth on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 10(5) was presented and was referred to the Lord Chancellor for a report to the House pursuant to Standing Order 11.

Private Business

2   Crossrail Bill The petition against the bill from Scottish Widows plc and Scottish Widows Fund and Life Assurance Society (No. 26) was withdrawn.

Public Business

3   Health: organophosphates and carbamates A question was asked by the Countess of Mar and answered by Lord Rooker.

4   Identity cards A question was asked by Lord Young of Norwood Green and answered by Lord West of Spithead.

5   Inflation: Consumer Prices Index A question was asked by Baroness Oppenheim-Barnes and answered by Lord Davies of Oldham.

6   Higher education: foreign funding A question was asked by Baroness Cox and answered by Baroness Morgan of Drefelin.

7   Merits of Statutory Instruments The Chairman of Committees moved that Lord Rosser be appointed a member of the Select Committee in place of Lord Tunnicliffe, resigned. The motion was agreed to.

8   Regulatory Enforcement and Sanctions Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time. Amendments 1 and 7 were disagreed to (see division lists 1 and 2). Amendments were agreed to and a privilege amendment was agreed to. Then the bill was passed and sent to the Commons.

9   Consolidation Bills The following Report from the Joint Committee was made and ordered to be printed:

10   Housing and Regeneration Bill Baroness Andrews moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
