2   Bournemouth Borough Council Bill [HL] Lord Eden of Winton moved that the bill be read a third time. The motion was agreed to. After debate, the bill was passed and sent to the Commons.

3   Manchester City Council Bill [HL] Lord Bradley moved that the bill be read a third time. The motion was agreed to. The bill was passed and sent to the Commons.

15   Railways (2½-hour debate) Lord Berkeley moved for papers relating to the growth in passenger and freight traffic on Britain’s railways. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
