Financial Assistance for Industry (Increase of Limit) Order-Industrial Development Act 1982
The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office & Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (Lord Jones of Birmingham): My honourable friend the Minister of State for Employment Relations and Postal Services (Pat McFadden) has made the following Written Ministerial Statement.

A Motion to increase the limit of financial assistance under this Act was resolved in Committee on 17 July 2007. Due to an administrative error, the order was not made until 7 May 2008. It came into force on 8 May. I regret the delay in the completion of this order.
House of Lords: 1 and 2 Millbank
The Chairman of Committees (Lord Brabazon of Tara): At its meeting on 12 May, the Administration and Works Committee approved the detailed design plan for the first phase refurbishment of the Millbank island site. I have placed a copy of the plan in the Library of the House.
An exhibition of key features of the plan, including the layout of Members’ offices, will be held in July in the Royal Gallery.
