Public Business
1 Building Societies (Funding) and Mutual Societies (Transfers) Bill The bill was read a third time and, after debate, passed. The bill was returned to the Commons with amendments.
2 Economic Sanctions (EAC Report) Lord Wakeham moved that this House takes note of the Report of the Economic Affairs Committee on The Impact of Economic Sanctions (2nd Report, HL Paper 96). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
3 European Union: Schengen Information System II (EUC Report) Lord Wright of Richmond moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on Schengen Information System II (SIS II) (9th Report, HL Paper 49). After debate, the motion was agreed to.

2 EM (Lebanon) (FC) (Appellant) (FC) v Secretary of State for the Home Department (Respondent) The final determination of the Legal Services Commission having been made it was ordered that the time for lodging the statement and appendix and setting down the cause for hearing be extended to 26 October.
3 Appeal Committee The 84th Report from the Appeal Committee was agreed to and the following Order was made:
