7 Parliament: waging war Lord Holme of Cheltenham moved that this House takes note of the Report of the Constitution Committee on Waging war: Parliament’s role and responsibility (15th Report, Session 2005-06, HL Paper 236) and the Follow-up Report (3rd Report, Session 2006-07, HL Paper 51). After debate, the motion was agreed to.

1 Simmers (Respondent) v Innes (Appellant) (Scotland) The appeal of James Grigor Innes was presented and it was ordered that in accordance with Standing Order VI the statement and appendix thereto be lodged on or before 12 June.
2 Secretary of State for the Home Department (Respondent) v AF (Petitioner) The petition of AF praying for leave for an appeal to be brought direct from the High Court of Justice in accordance with Part II of the Administration of Justice Act 1969 was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee (lodged 30 April).
