Public Business
4. Emergency Workers (Obstruction) Bill—The order of commitment was discharged.
5. Public Awareness of House of Lords Scrutiny (EUC Report)—It was moved by the Lord Grenfell that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on EU Legislation—Public Awareness of the Scrutiny Role of the House of Lords (32nd Report, HL Paper 179); after debate, the motion was agreed to.
6. Young offenders: speech and language therapy—The Lord Ramsbotham asked Her Majesty’s Government whether they intend to introduce speech and language therapy into young offender institutions and secure training centres; after debate, the question was answered by the Baroness Scotland of Asthal.
