1. Forbes (FC) (Petitioner) v. Secretary of State for the Home Department (Respondent)The petition of Giles Javen Forbes praying for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee. The petitioners certificate of public funding was lodged.

7. ZimbabweThe Lord Blaker asked Her Majestys Government what assessment they have made of the current situation in Zimbabwe; after debate, the question was answered by the Lord Triesman.
