1. Baroness QuinThe Right Honourable Joyce Gwendolen Quin, having been created Baroness Quin, of Gateshead in the County of Tyne and Wear, for life by Letters Patent dated in the afternoon of 30th May 2006, was introduced between the Lord Lea of Crondall and the Lord Radice, the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod and Garter King of Arms preceding; and made and subscribed the solemn affirmation pursuant to statute.
2. Lord Morris of HandsworthSir William Manuel Morris, Knight, having been created Baron Morris of Handsworth, of Handsworth in the County of West Midlands, for life by Letters Patent dated in the afternoon of 7th June 2006, was introduced between the Lord Ashley of Stoke and the Baroness Howells of St. Davids, the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod and Garter King of Arms preceding; and took and subscribed the oath pursuant to statute.

3. Oates (Petitioner) v. Stimson and another (Respondents)The petition of Brian Richard Oates praying for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.
4. R. v. HTM Limited (Respondent)The petition of the Health and Safety Executive praying for leave to appeal in accordance with the Criminal Appeal Act 1968 was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.
5. Downey (Appellant) v. Charles Evans Shopfitters Limited (Respondents)It was ordered that the appellant be allowed to prosecute the appeal without giving the usual security for costs as required by Standing Order.
