1. R (on the application of Godmanchester Town Council) (Appellants) v. Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Respondent) and one other action
2. R (on the application of Drain) (Appellant) v. Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Respondent) and one other action
- The petition of the appellants praying that the appeals be consolidated; that they be allowed to lodge one statement, one case and one appendix and be jointly represented in respect of the two appeals and that the respondent be allowed to lodge one case in respect of the two appeals (the agents for the respondent consenting thereto) was presented; and it was ordered as prayed.
3. Belfast City Council (Appellants) v. Miss Behavin Limited (Respondents) (Northern Ireland)The petition of the appellants praying that the time for lodging the statement and appendix and setting down the cause for hearing might be extended to 16th June (the agents for the respondents consenting thereto) was presented; and it was ordered as prayed (lodged 5th May).
4. Datec Electronics Holdings Limited and others (Respondents) v. United Parcels Services Limited (Appellants)The petition of the appellants praying that the time for lodging the statement and appendix and setting down the cause for hearing might be extended to 20th June (the agents for the respondents consenting thereto) was presented; and it was ordered as prayed.

10. HBOS Group Reorganisation BillThe bill was reported from the Unopposed Bill Committee without amendment.
Public Business
11. Civil Aviation BillThe bill was returned from the Commons with certain amendments disagreed to with a reason for such disagreement; with certain amendments disagreed to but with an amendment proposed in lieu thereof; and with the remaining amendments agreed to; the Commons amendment and reason were ordered to be printed. 12. Company Law Reform Bill [HL]The report was received; amendments were moved and (by leave of the House) withdrawn; amendments were agreed to; an amendment was agreed to (see division list 1); an amendment was disagreed to (see division list 2); further consideration on report was adjourned.
13. Water Framework DirectiveThe Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer asked Her Majestys Government what progress they have made in implementing the Water Framework Directive; after debate, the question was answered by the Baroness Farrington of Ribbleton.

14. Company Law Reform Bill [HL]The bill was further considered on report; amendments were moved and (by leave of the House) withdrawn; amendments were agreed to; further consideration on report was adjourned after 169.
