It was moved by the Lord McKenzie of Luton that the draft Regulations and Orders laid before the House on 31st January, 28th February, 1st March and 6th March be approved en bloc; the motion was agreed to.
14. Consolidated Fund (Appropriation) (No. 2) BillIt was moved by the Lord McKenzie of Luton that the bill be now read a second time; the motion was agreed to and the Committee was negatived; then, Standing Order 47 having been dispensed with, the bill was read a third time and passed.
15. Identity Cards BillThe Commons reasons were considered; it was moved that this House do not insist on its Amendments 22G and 22H in lieu to which the Commons have disagreed for their Reasons 22GA and 22I; then it was moved, as an amendment thereto, at end to insert but do propose Amendments 22J and 22K in lieu; after debate, the amendment was agreed to (see division list 1); then the original motion, as amended, was agreed to; the bill was returned to the Commons with amendments.
16. Civil Aviation BillThe bill was read a third time; amendments were disagreed to (see division lists 2, 3 and 4); amendments were moved and (by leave of the House) withdrawn; then the bill was passed and returned to the Commons with amendments.
17. Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill [HL]It was moved by the Lord Adonis that the bill be now read a second time; after debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Grand Committee.
