Judicial Business
1. Jones (Respondent) v. Whalley (Appellant) (On Appeal from a Divisional Court of the Queens Bench Division)The appeal of Stephan Whalley was presented and ordered to be prosecuted subject to the procedures applicable thereto.
2. Director of Public Prosecutions (Appellant) v. Collins (Respondent) (On Appeal from a Divisional Court of the Queens Bench Division)The appeal of the Crown Prosecution Service was presented and ordered to be prosecuted subject to the procedures applicable thereto.
3. Her Majestys Revenue and Customs (Respondents) v. Sharma and another and others (Petitioners)The petition of Digimate (UK) Limited praying for leave to appeal in accordance with the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.
4. Appeal CommitteeThe 61st Report was made; the Appeal Committee reported that they had met and had heard Counsel; the report was agreed to and the following Order was made
- Durant (Petitioner) v. Financial Services Authority (Respondents)That leave to appeal be refused; and that the petitioner do pay to the respondents the costs of the petition, the amount thereof to be certified by the Clerk of the Parliaments if not agreed between the parties.

9. European UnionThe 17th Report from the Select Committee, The World Trade Organisation: The Hong Kong Ministerial 13th-18th December 2005, was made and ordered to be printed, together with the Minutes of Evidence. (HL Paper 77)
10. Economic AffairsThe 4th Report from the Select Committee, on Monetary Policy, was made and ordered to be printed. (HL Paper 78)
Public Business
11. Road Safety Bill [HL]The bill was further considered on report; amendments were agreed to (see division lists 1 and 2); amendments were agreed to; amendments were moved and (by leave of the House) withdrawn; an amendment was moved and, on question, tellers for the contents not having been appointed, the amendment was disagreed to pursuant to Standing Order 54; it was ordered that the bill be printed as amended. (HL Bill 47)
12. Children and Adoption Bill [HL]The bill was read a third time; amendments were moved and (by leave of the House) withdrawn; a privilege amendment was agreed to; then the bill was passed and sent to the Commons.
