1. Lord Hope of ThornesThe Right Reverend and Right Honourable David Michael Hope, KCVO, lately Archbishop of York, having been created Baron Hope of Thornes, of Thornes in the County of West Yorkshire, for life by Letters Patent dated 31st March 2005, was introduced between the Lord Crathorne and the Lord Habgood, the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod and Garter King of Arms preceding; and took and subscribed the oath pursuant to statute.
2. Baroness Morris of YardleyThe Right Honourable Estelle Morris, having been created Baroness Morris of Yardley, of Yardley in the County of West Midlands, for life by Letters Patent dated in the forenoon of 14th June 2005, was introduced between the Lord Morris of Manchester and the Lord Puttnam, the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod and Garter King of Arms preceding; and took and subscribed the oath pursuant to statute.

14. European UnionIt was moved by the Lord President (Baroness Amos) that this House takes note of developments in the European Union; after debate, the motion was agreed to.
15. Dental servicesThe Baroness Gardner of Parkes asked Her Majestys Government when National Health dental services will be available for all; after debate, the question was answered by the Lord Warner.
