1.Her Majesty’s Attorney General (Respondent) v. Pelling (Petitioner) (First petition)—The petition of Michael John Pelling praying for leave to appeal in accordance with the Administration of Justice Act 1960 was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee (lodged 21st February).
2.Her Majesty’s Attorney General (Respondent) v. Pelling (Petitioner) (Second petition)—The petition of Michael John Pelling praying for leave to appeal in accordance with the Administration of Justice Act 1960 was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee (lodged 21st April).
3.R (on the application of Laporte) (FC) (Petitioner) v. Chief Constable of Gloucestershire (Respondent)—The petition of the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis praying for leave to intervene in the said petition for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.
4.R (on the application of Laporte) (FC) (Petitioner) v. Chief Constable of Gloucestershire (Respondent)—The petition of the Chief Constable of the Thames Valley Police praying for leave to intervene in the said petition for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.
5.Appeal Committee—The 13th Report from the Appeal Committee was agreed to and the following Order was made—

Regina v. Secretary of State for the Home Department (Appellant) ex parte Tesema (Respondent)—

That the petition of Shelter that they might be heard or otherwise intervene in the said appeals be allowed.

6.Appeal Committee—The 14th Report from the Appeal Committee was agreed to and the following Orders were made—

Agassi (Respondent) v. Robinson (Her Majesty’s Inspector of Taxes) (Petitioner)—That leave to appeal be given; and that the petition of appeal be lodged by 24th May.

Kinane (Respondent) v. Mackie-Conteh (Petitioner) and others—That the respondent be invited to lodge objections by 24th May.

Telewest Communications plc and others (Respondents) v. Her Majesty’s Commissioners of Customs and Excise (Petitioners)—That the respondents be invited to lodge objections by 24th May.

7.Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (Respondents) v. Impregilo SpA and others (Appellants)—

The cause was further and fully heard and consideration was adjourned sine die.

8.Regina v. Secretary of State for Work and Pensions (Respondent) ex parte Kehoe (FC) (Appellant)—

The cause was further and fully heard and consideration was adjourned sine die.
