HOUSE OF LORDS MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS Tuesday 7th September 2004 The House met at half-past two o’clock. (HL Paper 160) Public Business 15.  Select Committees—It was moved by the Chairman of Committees that the Lord Williamson of Horton be appointed a member of the following Committees, in the place of the Lord Craig of Radley: House, Administration and Works, Liaison, Privileges, Procedure and Selection; the motion was agreed to. 16.  West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 2004—It was moved by the Chairman of Committees that the First Report from the Hybrid Instruments Committee (HL Paper 145) be agreed to and that the Order be referred to a Select Committee; the motion was agreed to. 17.  Armed Forces (Pensions and Compensation) Bill—It was moved by the Lord Bach that the amendments for the Report stage be marshalled and considered in the following order— Clauses 1 to 5 Schedule 1 Clause 6 Schedule 2 Clause 7 Schedule 3 Clauses 8 to 12; the motion was agreed to. 18.  Iraq—It was moved by the Baroness Symons of Vernham Dean that this House takes note of the situation concerning Iraq; after debate, the motion was agreed to.
