7. Steel industryIt was moved by the Lord Brookman that there be laid before the House papers relating to the state of the United Kingdom steel industry and of United Kingdom manufacturing generally; after debate, the motion was (by leave of the House) withdrawn.
8. Patients Protection Bill [HL]The House again resolved itself into a Committee upon the bill; amendments were moved and (by leave of the Committee) withdrawn; the House was resumed and the bill was reported with amendments; it was ordered that the bill be printed as amended. (HL Bill 86)
