1. Mersey Care NHS Trust (Petitioners) v. Ackroyd (Respondent)The petition of Mersey Care NHS Trust praying for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.
2. South Bucks District Council and another (Respondents) v. Porter (FC) (Petitioner)The petition of Linda Porter praying for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee. The petitioners certificate of public funding was lodged.
3. A (Respondent) v. Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police (Appellant) and anotherThe petition of the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry praying for leave to intervene in the said appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.
4. Regina v. Special Adjudicator (Respondent) ex parte Ullah (FC) (Appellant)The petition of the appellant praying that the time for lodging the statement and appendix and setting down the cause for hearing might be extended to 19th June next (the agents for the respondent consenting thereto) was presented; and it was ordered as prayed (lodged 12th June).
5. Glasgow City Council (Respondents) v. Caststop Limited (Appellants) (Scotland)It was ordered that the appeal be dismissed in accordance with Standing Order VI (1), the appellants having failed to lodge the Statement and the Appendix thereto by 12th June.

11. Contracting Out (Administration of the Teachers Pensions Scheme) Order 2003It was moved by the Lord Davies of Oldham that the draft Order laid before the House on 28th April be approved; the motion was agreed to.
12. Aviation (Offences) BillIt was moved by the Lord Corbett of Castle Vale that the bill be now read a second time; after debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House.
