Judicial Business
1. Shaker (Respondent) v. Al-Bedrawi (Petitioner) and others and two other actions—The petition of Mohammed Al-Bedrawi praying for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee (lodged 20th December).
2. Shaker (Respondent) v. Steggles Palmer (a firm) and others (Petitioners) and two other actions—The petition of Steggles Palmer, Peter Edwin Steggles, Christopher Anthony Major Henniker, Geoffrey Edward Morris, John Boyd Quibell and Gregory Paul Lunnon praying for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee (lodged 31st December).
3. E (FC) (Petitioner) v. London Borough of Newham and others (Respondents)—The petition of E praying for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee. The petitioner’s certificate of public funding was lodged.
4. Her Majesty’s Attorney General (Respondent) v. Scotcher (Petitioner)—The petition of Keith Scotcher praying for an extension of time within which the petition may be lodged and for leave to appeal in accordance with the Administration of Justice Act 1960 was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.
5. Anton Durbeck Gmbh (Appellants) v. Den Norske Bank ASA (Respondents)—The appeal was set down for hearing and referred to an Appellate Committee.
6. Her Majesty’s Commissioners of Customs and Excise (Appellants) v. Zielinski Baker & Partners Limited (Respondents)—The petition of the appellants praying that the time for lodging the statement and appendix and setting down the cause for hearing might be extended to 22nd July next (the agents for the respondents consenting thereto) was presented; and it was ordered as prayed.
7. Jerome (Appellant) v. Kelly (Her Majesty’s Inspector of Taxes) (Respondent)—The petition of the appellant praying that the time for lodging the statement and appendix and setting down the cause for hearing might be extended to 22nd July next (the agents for the respondent consenting thereto) was presented; and it was ordered as prayed.

9. Asif (Petitioner) v. The City (Europe) plc and others and others (Respondents)—Upon application by the petitioner (the agents for the respondents consenting thereto), it was ordered that the petition be withdrawn and that there be no order as to costs.
