Proceeds of Crime BillThe House resolved itself into a Committee upon the bill; amendments were moved and (by leave of the Committee) withdrawn; amendments were agreed to; the question that a clause stand part of the bill was negatived; an amendment was disagreed to (see division list); the House was resumed.
16. Employment BillThe bill was reported from the Grand Committee with amendments; it was ordered that the bill be printed as amended. (HL Bill 77)
17. Industrial and Provident Societies BillA bill to enable the law relating to societies registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 to be amended so as to bring it into conformity with certain aspects of the law relating to companies; to amend the procedure whereby such a society may convert itself into, or amalgamate with or transfer its engagements to, a company; and for connected purposes was brought from the Commons, read a first time and ordered to be printed. 18. National Heritage Bill [HL]The bill was returned from the Commons agreed to with a privilege amendment; the amendment was considered and agreed to.
19. Wireless Telegraphy (Television Licence Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2002It was moved by the Baroness Anelay of St Johns that an Humble Address be presented to Her Majesty praying that the Regulations, laid before the House on 11th March, be annulled (S.I. 2002/641); after debate, the motion was (by leave of the House) withdrawn.
20. Proceeds of Crime BillThe House again resolved itself into a Committee upon the bill; amendments were moved and (by leave of the Committee) withdrawn; amendments were agreed to; the House was resumed after clause 71 stood part.
