Speaker of the House of CommonsThe Lords Commissioners being seated, the Lord Chancellor in the middle with the Lord Privy Seal (Lord Williams of Mostyn) and the Lord Moore of Wolvercote on his right hand and the Lord Strathclyde and the Baroness Williams of Crosby on his left, and the Commons, being present at the Bar with their Speaker-Elect, the Right Honourable Mr Michael Martin, the said Speaker-Elect was presented and approved by the Lords Commissioners (by command of Her Majesty).
