Judicial Business

1.  Transco plc (formerly BG plc and BG Transco plc) (Petitioners) v. Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council (Respondents)—The petition of Transco plc praying for leave to appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.

2.  Regina v. A (Respondent) (On Appeal from the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division))—The petition of Mary-Ann Stephenson and the Fawcett Society praying for leave to present written submissions in intervention in the said appeal was presented and referred to an Appeal Committee.

3.  Instrument withdrawn—The following instrument, laid before the House on 27 February 2001, was withdrawn:

7.  Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001—It was moved by the Lord McIntosh of Haringey that the Order laid before the House on 27th February be approved; after debate, the motion was agreed to.

8.  Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Carrying on Regulated Activities by Way of Business) Order 2001—It was moved by the Lord McIntosh of Haringey that the draft Order laid before the House on 27th February be approved; the motion was agreed to.
