B I L L TO Amend the Wild Mammals (Protection) Act 1996. BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- | |||||||||
| Amendment of Wild Mammals (Protection) Act. | 1. - (1) For section 1 of the Wild Mammals (Protection) Act 1996 there shall be substituted- | ||||||||

| (2) In section 2 of that Act (exceptions from offence under the Act), paragraphs (b), (d) and (e) shall be omitted. | |||||||||
| Short title, commencement and extent. | 2. - (1) This Act may be cited as the Wild Mammals (Protection) (Amendment) Act 2001. | ||||||||
| (2) This Act shall come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the date on which it receives Royal Assent. | |||||||||
| (3) This Act shall not apply to Northern Ireland. | |||||||||
