The Kaleidoscope management committee assist the Commission in implementing the Kaleidoscope programme. The Committee gives opinions on Commission proposals concerning the priorities and general guidelines of the Kaleidoscope programme, the call for proposals each year, the general balance between the actions in the programme, the selection rules and criteria for the various types of projects, the financial support to be provided (including amounts, duration, distribution and beneficiaries) and the detailed procedures for monitoring and evaluating the programme. The committee meets about three times a year.
