Courts Act 2003 (Commencement No. 13) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/2706)

In its letter dated 6 February 2008, the Committee requested a memorandum on the following point:

Why does this instrument not contain a citation provision?

The omission of the citation provision was an oversight for which the Ministry apologises. The instrument commenced two repeals provided for in the Courts Act 2003 (Schedule 2 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933, and section 146 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980). The Ministry will amend the order at the next available opportunity.
