Courts Act 2003 (Commencement No. 13) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/2706)

1.1 The Committee draws the special attention of both Houses to this Order on the ground that in one respect it does not accord with proper drafting practice.

1.2 The body of this Order lacks a citation provision stating what the title of the Order is. In the absence of such a provision there is no formal label given to facilitate reference to the Order. In a memorandum printed at Appendix 1 the Ministry of Justice apologises for the omission and states that it will amend the Order at the next available opportunity. The Committee accordingly reports this Order for failure to accord with proper drafting practice in this respect, acknowledged by the Department.
