Consumer Credit Act 2006 (Commencement No.
3) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/3300)
1. The Committee has asked the Department for Business,
Enterprise & Regulatory Reform for a memorandum on the following
point:
What provisions in the Order are based on section
69(2) and (3) of the Consumer Credit Act 2006?
2. The Department acknowledges that no provisions
in the Order are based on section 69(2) and (3) of the Consumer
Credit Act 2006 and apologises for inadvertently including these
references in the preamble. A late change was made to the draft
removing some transitional provisions and these references should
have been taken out of the preamble at that point.
