    Resolved, That this House—

    (1) approves the Seventh Report of the Committee on Standards and Privileges (House of Commons Paper No. 310);

    (2) endorses the recommendations in paragraph 22 of the Report; and

    (3) accordingly resolves to withhold Resettlement Grant from the hon. Member for Leyton and Wanstead.—(Barbara Keeley.)

4 Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill (Money) (No. 2)

    Queen's Recommendation signified.

    Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill, it is expedient to authorise—

    (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of sums required by virtue of the Act to be paid out of money so provided into the Parliamentary Contributory Pension Fund;

    (2) the payment out of the Consolidated Fund of—

      (a) amounts required by virtue of the Act to be paid out of the Consolidated Fund in respect of transfer values paid into the Consolidated Fund,

      (b) interest required by virtue of the Act to be paid on those amounts, and

      (c) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable out of the Consolidated Fund by virtue of any other Act.—(Secretary Jack Straw.)

5 Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill (Ways and Means) (No. 2)

    Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill, it is expedient to authorise the imposition of charges to tax as a result of a person's membership of the House of Commons or the House of Lords.—(Mr Michael Wills.)

6 Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill (Programme) (No. 5)

    Motion made and Question put forthwith (Standing Order No. 83A(7)), That the Order of 3 November 2009 in the last Session of Parliament (Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill (Programme) (No. 2)), as varied by the Orders of 19 and 26 January 2010, be further varied as follows:

    (1) in paragraph 2, for 'five days' there shall be substituted 'six days';

    (2) in the Table, for the entry relating to the fifth day of Committee there shall be substituted:

    The Lords communicate that they have appointed a Committee of nine Lords to join with the Committee appointed by the Commons as the Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy, to consider the National Security Strategy;
