7    Message from the Lords,—A Message was brought from the Lords as follows:

    The Lords agree, without Amendment, to the Amendments made by this House to the Children and Young Persons Bill [Lords].

    The Lords agree, without Amendment, to the Amendments made by this House to the Employment Bill [Lords].

8    Combating obesity (Topical Debate),—Resolved, That this House has considered the matter of combating obesity.—(Dawn Primarolo.)

9    Royal Assent,—The Deputy Speaker notified the House, in accordance with the Royal Assent Act 1967, That Her Majesty had signified her Royal Assent to the following Acts, agreed upon by both Houses:

    Planning and Energy Act 2008

    Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008

    Children and Young Persons Act 2008

    Employment Act 2008.

10    International aid transparency,—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House has considered the matter of international aid transparency—(Mr Secretary Alexander);

    And it being Six o'clock, the Motion lapsed without Question put.

11    Public Petition,—A Public Petition from residents of Cuddington and Sandiway, and others relating to planning and development (Cheshire) was presented and read.

12    Adjournment.
