    And it being one and half hours after the commencement of proceedings, the Motion lapsed without Question put, pursuant to Temporary Standing Order (Topical debates).

10    Adjournment (Matters to be considered before the forthcoming adjournment),—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Ms Diana R. Johnson);

    And it being Six o'clock, the Motion for the adjournment of the House lapsed, without Question put.

11    Public Petitions,—Public Petitions from—

    (1) those concerned about the proposed closure of Derby Road Post Office relating to Post Office closures (Bristol); and

    (2) local residents in the constituency of Kingston and Surbiton relating to Post Office closures (Kingston and Surbiton)

    were presented and read.
