I refer to the copy of the Commissioner's report
sent to me.
I am grateful for the opportunity to give oral evidence
to the Committee but I do not think that much can be added in
so doing.
I would wish to make on further comment however.
I note the Commissioner's intention to make representations at
paragraph 76. Might I also pose the following some further consideration:
All four areas of complaint against me were scrutinised
and vetted by the DFA and were approved for action. What therefore
is the point of DFA being on hand to advise if later they then
decide that strictly following such advice causes transgressions
of the rules?
