PETITIONS FOR BILLS

2. No private bill shall be presented to the House unless a petition for the same, headed by the short title of the bill and signed by the parties, being promoters of the bill, or some of them, has been previously presented to the House, with a printed copy of the proposed bill annexed. 2A. Every petition for a private bill shall be presented to the House by being deposited in the Private Bill Office.		Presentation of petitions for bills.
No such petition shall be received after 27th November (or if that day is a Saturday or a Sunday, the first Monday following that day) unless it has been endorsed by the Chairman of Ways and Means.
