Memorandum by Skegness Town Council (CEM
06)
One area of concern is the procedure whereby
Churches after receiving income etc from their burial grounds
can, when they are full, then pass on all future maintenance to
the Town/Parish Council.
This action throws a financial burden on the
whole community to maintain property for a single organisation.
Given the multi faceted nature of communities
this procedure is no longer equitable and should be reviewed.
