The Committee deliberated.

Mr Glenn Hull, Second Treasury Officer of Accounts was further examined.

The Comptroller and Auditor General's report on Child Support Agency Client Funds Account 1998-99 (HC 533) was considered.

Ms Faith Boardman, Chief Executive, Mr Vince Gaskell, Programme Director, Mr Michael Davison, Resources Director and Mr John Lutton, Director of Operations, the Child Support Agency were examined (HC 184-i).

Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.

Paragraphs 1 to 4 read and agreed to.

Paragraph 5 postponed.

Paragraphs 6 to 45 read and agreed to.

Postponed paragraph 5 read and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Fourteenth Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the provisions of Standing Order No. 134 (Select Committees (Reports)) be applied to the Report.
