    —  clinical scientists (including biochemists);

    —  community mental health nurses;

    —  complementary medical practitioners;

    —  counsellors;

    —  dieticians;

    —  cytology screeners;

    —  hospital doctors and GPs;

    —  estates maintenance, works and craft staff;

    —  health advisers in sexually transmitted diseases;

    —  health visitors, community nurses including school, practice, district, family planning, learning disability and occupational health nurses and nursery nurses;

    —  healthcare pharmacists and pharmacy technicians;

    —  hospital physicists;

    —  human resource, personnel staff, manager, clerical and administrative staff at all levels;

    —  medical laboratory scientific officers and medical laboratory assistants;

    —  Medical Research Council staff;

    —  medical technical officers including physiological measurement technicians, medical physics technicians, medical photographers, medical artists and illustrators, animal technicians, operating department assistants, dental technicians, electronic therapists, orthotists and prosthetists;

    —  National Blood Authority staff;

    —  primary care facilitators;

    —  Public Health Laboratory Service staff;

    —  radiographers and dark room technicians;

    —  speech and language therapists and associated staff;

    —  technical instructors.
