Further to our telephone conversation and the fax you sent to me yesterday, I can confirm that according to the audit working papers, the £200,000 payment to the highest paid director in compensation for loss of office, as disclosed in the accounts of Pergamon AGB plc for the period to 30 June 1990, related to another director of that company, and not to yourself.
