I reported to the Committee on Standards and Privileges at its meeting this morning our recent conversation in which you told me that, although the accounts of Hollis Industries PLC for the period ended 30 June 1990 show that the chairman's remuneration was £200,000, you had not received that money. The Commissioner reported to the Committee that you had said the same to him.

The Committee would be grateful if you could confirm this in writing for the record.
