Select Committee on Standards and Privileges Twentieth Report

ANNEX D

Further letter to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards from Mr Geoffrey Robinson MP

I write in reply to your letter of 30 July. The answers to your five points are as follows:

    (1) Yes

    (2) No

    (3) My daughter and myself are shareholders

    (4) Yes

    (5) No

The answer to your final paragraph is that the whole situation regarding both lands and buildings remains as it was in November. On the central point, you rightly say if neither of the companies is trading the question of registration of directorships and shareholdings does not arise. That is the case.

To reassure you on this point I am attaching a statement from the auditors which makes the situation unequivocally clear.[10] You will also notice that Rag Cecchi also states that the aims of both companies have not been changed since their inception.
